Programs and results
What we aim to solve
To provide faith-based support to the needs that arise in the disability community.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Special Touch Summer Get Away
Special Touch provides a summer 'camping' program for over 800 people with disabilities, both physical and intellectual with physical, ages 10 through senior adult. This program serves people with a wide range of abilities, many of whom would not typically be able to participate in a 'camp' setting.
Special Touch Chapters of America
One of the greatest challenges for families who have a member with special needs is the isolation they feel. Special Touch Chapters address this problem by providing effective faith-based ministry to individuals who have disabilities and those who love and care for them. Special Touch Chapters meet locally across the country.
Special Touch Disability Friendly Church (DFC)
The need for Disability Friendly churches is off the charts as many families are disheartened by churches who don’t understand their unique needs, or who have even asked them to leave! Churches partnered with the Special Touch DFC are a safe haven to people with disabilities in their community… letting them know THIS CHURCH CARES! This unique program provides a way for churches to develop their outreach programs that serve the disability community.
Special Touch Blind Services
Since early 2019, Special Touch Ministry has been retooling and developing faith-based programs, services, and tools and materials specifically to meet the needs of people who are blind or have visual impairments.

Balance sheetFiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
