DHLP Mental Health Initiative

The Donny Hathaway Legacy Project: (DHLP) we believe in addressing and getting to the root cause of one's heartbreak or trauma. We also want to meet people where they are. This will be vitally important with our children and youth programming.
programming is designed to educate and heal marginalized communities by using holistic modalities including but not limited to:
- Listening sessions
- Mental health and wellness awareness sessions
- Multi week healing sessions
- Music therapy
- Art therapy
- Group / community therapy with a mix of the following components: trained mental health professionals, trusted community leaders & influencers, nutritionist, holistic practitioner, comedian
- Wellness activities: Yoga, sound bathing, massages, reiki, concerts, color and paint, candle making etc.
- Physical activities: Nature hikes, dancing, walks, assisted stretching, spin class, etc.
- Hybrid and in person culturally themed awareness and prevention discussions and more.
