Camp Tuku - Summer Camp Sessions

Camp Tuku is an innovative, holistic summer camp with a mission to enrich the lives of children with the benefits of mindfulness. A rich curriculum of hands-on, experiential electives with a focus on the integration of mind, body, and heart empowers kids with the skills in early life to help them build confidence & resilience.
Operating three weeks during the Summer, Camp Tuku provides overnight camping sessions for over 300 youth per year. Each session is about one week long; and located in either Mayer, Arizona; or Huguenot, New York.
Through our three-pronged approach, focusing on heart, body, and mind campers become more aware of their sense of self, their ability to lead, & thrive in the face of adversity all in a safe, fun, and collaborative environment. Our goal at Camp Tuku is to empower children with the tools to live their best lives with more confidence. We unequivocally believe Summer Camp & Mindfulness should be
accessible to all children.

Through our CIT program we seek to provide mentoring opportunities for young adults ages 15-17, who display strong leadership capabilities. Counselor's in Training will be participating in the implementation of camp activities, provide secondary support for campers in your assigned bunk areas, assist with guiding younger campers around camp, and assist with evening activities. They will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other young leaders and recreational staff to build a strong network.

Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

SOURCE: IRS Form 990 info

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
