Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Provide training to the religious, educational, healthcare, and corporate communities and continue to provide deeply necessary compassionate listening to individuals.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We have already contracted with several companies to provide services. We have written and implemented a training program for compassionate listeners. We created a grant program and are seeking grants to help with the cost of the non-profit. We've add key staff to help growth. We have published three books on the topic of compassionate listening. We have reorganized our Board and seek to add more C-level positions this year.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We already have a large number of grants written and the potential is high for receiving many of these grants. We have more part time staff to work on key areas of the organization. We have published training materials, started training or compassionate listeners and have set up a fee structure for training for religious, educational and corporate organizations. We are adding to our Board of Directors and assigning specific areas for them to oversee and guide. We are seeking high level officers to help grow STTIT.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We are expanding Compassionate Listening Training Programs this year. We already have completed and published our training materials and continue training compassionate listeners. We have renewed with a substantial fee increase a contract that provides services to the healthcare industry. We have several other contracts pending. We are working on several grant proposals that are very likely to be approved. We have already received requests from several sectors for implementation of our Training Program. We have received new donations from private donors and the potential for more.

Balance sheetFiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
