What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

We are looking to grow each age group within our community by developing more programs to be run onsite at GiGi's Playhouse Milwaukee and develop program opportunities to connect with other businesses with similar missions. This will work to sustain GiGi's Milwaukee and support other businesses and our local families as we plan to meet their needs.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

At GiGi's Playhouse Milwaukee, we are changing the way the world views Down syndrome and sending a global message of acceptance for all. We want to see a world where individuals with Down syndrome are accepted and embraced in their families, schools, and communities.

We change lives through consistent delivery of free educational, therapeutic-based, and career development programs for individuals of all ages with Down syndrome, their families, and the community, through a lifetime commitment to families.

The Milwaukee Playhouse has supported families from prenatal diagnosis through adulthood for the past nine years, with consistent programming. We have grown our Playhouse to support over 500 families in virtual and in-person programming that remains free for all.

To date, we have provided programming at our physical location, virtually, and at locations within the greater Milwaukee area. We do this by partnering with local universities to provide a consistent source of volunteers to lead programs and reach more families.
