What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Not Your Average Shelter
Our mission is to provide our senior furry friends a home in a loving, healthy, living-room setting where they can comfortably live out their lives, be they measured in weeks, months or years. We do not care how old or young, how sick or crabby, how far or close a pup may be in need – if we can make space for them then we will find a way to save them. We never shy away from a complex or expensive medical case either, because we’ve seen miracles happen time and time again, and one of our mottos is that you cannot put a price on any animal’s life – they are all priceless to us.
We aim to educate others on how to be the best pet-parents they can be, and how to appreciate every moment that we get with animals on their short blip of time on this earth. Our shelter locations work hard day in and day out to make sure all our animals are well-loved and enjoying the here and now – their happily furever after doesn’t begin when they get adopted, it begins the moment we take them into our care.
Dog Dates
While each of our locations strive to provide the most loving care to our shelter pups, absolutely nothing compares to individual one-on-one time that our dog daters give to the pups! By becoming a “dog-dater” you sign up to take one of our adoptable pups out for an hour (or longer) and give them a break from the day-to-day grind at our locations.
Sleepovers
Want to help shelter pups but can’t commit to fostering full-time? Sign up to be a temporary foster and bring a pup home for a sleepover or weekend getaway – any amount of time you can give is so extremely appreciated!
Holiday Fosters
The holidays will be here before you know it! Every year, we do a big push to try and find all of our pups a home for the holidays. Not only do we do this because every pup deserves to find a special home to spend the holidays in, but it also helps give our hard-working staff a day off as they dedicate every day of their lives to caring for our animals. Please consider hosting a pup for the holidays. We are here to help you in any way, anything we can do to get these pups into a home.
Hotel Getaways
Can’t foster because you have other pets who won’t let you, or a strict landlord, or any other host of reasons that prevent you from bringing a pup home? Sign up for our newest Hotel Getaway program, where the pups that are most-in-need can get a break by spending a night out with you at a local hotel! All expenses paid for – including the room and dinner for 2, all you provide is a night of snuggles and relaxation.

Balance sheetFiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31
SOURCE: IRS Form 990
The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
