Balance sheetFiscal Year: Jul 01 - Jun 30
SOURCE: IRS Form 990
The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.

Co-Executive Director
Mrs. Sarah S Poletto
Sarah and her husband Joe created The Blue Rose Foundation in late 2014 to honor the memories of our friends, teachers, and mentors. To pay tribute to those who inspired us, The Blue Rose Foundation supports programs that foster a life-long love of learning and provide children in need with the tools for future success. We believe in fostering a culture of giving that interacts with and strengthens our communities. Together, in the spirit of remembrance and gratitude, we offer renewed promise for generations to come.
Sarah graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelors degree in Political Science. After several jobs with a variety of for profit companies, Sarah found her calling working with her father and others to start a non profit organization in Uganda, Africa to help combat the devastation spread by HIV/AIDS.
With a new found passion for the world of non profit, Sarah went back to school and earned a Master Degree in Non-Profit Administration from the University of San Francisco.
After taking several years away from the working world to raise 2 children, Sarah and Joe founded the Blue Rose Foundation after a close friend died unexpectedly from cancer.
