What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Cape Cod Community College Educational Foundation

Specific goals include raising funds for student scholarships, faculty projects, library acquisitions, theater upgrades, campus technology, and the renovation of existing buildings as well as the construction of the new Wilkens Science and Engineering Center. Current funds and endowment interest are used for projects outside of the College's general operating budget. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts funds roughly 45% of the College's operating budget, the rest comes from tuition, fees, grants, and private contributions.

Chief Executive Officer

Kathy McNamara

Kathy McNamara serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation. Since 2012, she has managed the staff and day-to-day operations, in collaboration with the Foundation Board. Kathy enjoys working with donors, helping to match their interests with the Colleges needs. She successfully managed the $10 million capital campaign for the Wilkens Science and Engineering Center, the most ambitious campaign in the Foundations history. Kathy has worked in secondary and higher education for much of her career, focusing on communications, marketing, and fundraising. She is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross. Cape Cod Community College is an invaluable resource for all who live in this region. It is an honor to be part of the college community and to raise funds to support the College and, especially, its students.
