: To create and provide comprehensive evidence-based, pediatric therapy services to children with special needs with and/or within their own community. Intensive Therapeutics is focused on understanding the therapy needs of each child and integrating the necessary services and experiences needed to maximize a child’s potential. Intensive Therapeutics will eliminate the need for families with children with special needs to travel great distances to find needed therapy services and provide such services all under one roof. CONSTITUENCY SERVED: • Children diagnosed with cerebral palsy and upper extremity hemiplegia, often due to pediatric stroke or severe head trauma. • Children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and demonstrating other sensory-motor issues.

Executive Director

Mr. Don Scott Matthews

Scott is the founder and Executive Director of Intensive Therapeutics. Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, Scott was a social worker for 7 years. In 1997, Scott graduated from Kean University with a post-baccalaureate major in occupational therapy. He earned a post-professional master of science degree in health science, with a specialization in movement science, from Seton Hall University in 2005. As an occupational therapist, Scott has worked in various settings with adults and children. He has been an adjunct professor at Kean University.
