What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

We believe that silent meditation retreats offer a profound and transformative opportunity for personal and spiritual development. However, attending these retreats demands both dedication and financial capability. We have observed that many committed meditation practitioners are unable to pursue this path due to financial constraints, which limits their potential for growth and community contribution.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our goal is to eliminate financial barriers to spiritual growth and personal development through meditation retreats. We aim to ensure that every dedicated practitioner, regardless of their economic status, has the opportunity to deepen their practice and benefit from the transformative experience of a retreat. By supporting dedicated individuals, we strive to foster a more inclusive and diverse meditation community.

Our organization's strategy focuses on a multi-faceted approach to increase access to meditation retreats for those in need. We actively engage with donors to secure funding, which directly supports our scholarship program. We prioritize applicants who demonstrate both financial need and a strong commitment to practice. Through partnerships with retreat centers and meditation teachers, we seek to expand our network, creating a more robust platform for spreading awareness of our mission. Additionally, we work closely with applicants to devise realistic retreat budgets, ensuring efficient use of our resources and maximizing the support we can offer to each recipient.

Our dedicated team is equipped with the expertise and experience necessary to manage scholarship programs efficiently, from fundraising to applicant selection and support. We have established strong relationships with a diverse network of donors and retreat centers, enhancing our ability to fund and facilitate retreats across various locations. Our rigorous assessment process for applicants ensures that scholarships are awarded to individuals who will benefit most. Moreover, our commitment to transparency and accountability builds trust with donors, ensuring continued support for our mission. Our strong communication and outreach capabilities enable us to raise awareness widely, attracting both potential recipients and new supporters.

Since our inception, we have made significant strides in fulfilling our mission to remove financial barriers to meditation retreats. We have awarded scholarships for over 100 retreats, amounting to more than 2,200 days of supported meditation practice. Our efforts have had a global impact, with scholarships awarded in 13 countries, ensuring that practitioners from diverse backgrounds and regions can access transformative retreat experiences. This progress highlights our commitment to increasing opportunities for personal and spiritual growth worldwide and reflects the growth and effectiveness of our network and outreach initiatives.
