The purpose of Synecdoche Works is to support and promote art education, creation, performance, and/or exhibitions by underrepresented or underserved individuals. By providing funding to playwrights, actors, authors, and musicians, the organization aims to reduce barriers to these individuals’ ability to grow and practice their art.

Jennifer Mosier, life-long performer and patron of the arts, is a Magician Member of the Magic Castle in Hollywood and is Co-Executive Producer of a comedic web series titled Rent Control, currently in post-production. She has served on the faculties at UC Santa Barbara, Cal State San Bernardino, and Northern Arizona University.
