What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Child and Family Sponsorship and Support
I AM Family Ministries raises sponsorship funds and special donations to meet the needs of vulnerable children, women and families in Uganda and Rwanda including:
- Education, primary grades through college or vocational school
- Food
- Clothing
- Health care
Meeting these needs for our children gives them the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty in their lives.
Women of Action
I AM Family Ministries provides vulnerable widows and single moms encouragement, training, and materials with which they can generate an income stream to support their families. These women meet weekly and together produce craft items, school supplies, cleaning products, clothing and more, while supporting and encouraging each other. The products they make are sold at craft fairs and I AM Family Choir concerts in the United States, and local marketplaces in Kampala.
I AM Youth Connect
I AM Family Ministries brings together local youth for encouragement, mentoring and training with viable job skills. With these skills, these young people are able to find viable employment, breaking that cycle of poverty. I AM Youth Connect also provides these young people, often orphans, with solid mentors who they can turn to for advice and encouragement.
I AM Agro-Farming
I AM Family Ministries provides farming families in the Wabinyira Village area with good seed, fertilizer and tools, land and training to enable them to produce valuable food crops with which they can feed their own families, plus generate a revenue stream by selling their excess at market..
I AM Academy
I AM Family Ministries sustains a Christian primary school in Wabinyira Village, Uganda. The school's mission is "To nurture a God-fearing generation of self-motivated, disciplined and dedicated children well equipped through formal education and skills to rise above challenges and make life decisions and actions that will positively impact their lives and communities." Our vision is to raise up a God-fearing generation of community leaders and transformers. I AM Academy is the site of the first fresh water well providing clean water for the community. I AM is now bringing electricity to the school and surrounding village, and plans for a local church and medical clinic. I AM Academy brings solid education for the children while providing resources for their families and the whole community.

Financial data
I AM Family Ministries
Balance sheetFiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31
The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
Fiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31
This snapshot of I AM Family Ministries’s financial trends applies Nonprofit Finance Fund® analysis to data hosted by GuideStar. While it highlights the data that matter most, remember that context is key – numbers only tell part of any story.
