Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We at Relief, Inc. understand that we are all living in a global society. We value the importance of individuals coming together and rely on the support of others to champion our mission: to improve the lives of women, children, and orphans. We are seeking funding to build a school for weaving and sewing in Liberia. The impact this school would have on the lives of impoverished women could be immeasurable. As members of this global society, please consider giving through charitable donations or volunteering.

What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have contacts across the United states that have varing interest in supporting our mission. We are starting to provide video and other influential material to raise the interest level. What we need is a social media marketing and marketing person to help us grow our national and international support.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
The WOW-Women of Worth program sponsored and graduated three women in basic computer class during the 2006-2007 school year. During the 2008-2009 school year, sponsored three women in Home Education (Tailoring). During the 2018-2019 school year, we successfully piolet a fabric weaving program, the program trained and graduated ten women.
The next step is to build a school, hire instructors to train the women.

Revenue vs. expenses: breakdown
Financial data
Relief, Inc.
Balance sheetFiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31
The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.

Founder
Mrs. Phebe Dennis-Fortt
Phebe Dennis-Fortt was born and raised in Liberia, West Africa. She is the descendant of American slaves and the niece of one time President Tolbert. Her family was from Careysburg City, Liberia. When her uncle was assassinated, Phebe left the country in 1981 and came to the US. She married Ron A.J. Fortt, and they had twin boys.
Because of the civil war, her family was displaced. Her father was killed in the war, died soon after. One of Phebe's sisters was shot and went into a coma. Another sister has been missing since 2002. Before long Phebe began to realize that the 14 1/2 year war in her homeland was devastating her family and friends. In 2003 she founded Relief,Inc., a 501(C)(3) humanitarian non-profit. Phebe spends most of her life investigating how to make Relief, Inc. an organization that can have a profound positive impact for the thousands of Liberians that suffered during the past wars.
