What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow. It is necessary to equip them with the proper tools to help them confidently take on this important responsibility. With so many distractions in today’s society, this can be challenging. Helping our youth to be emotionally, mentally, physically, morally, and socially competent is an integral part of our Youth Empowerment initiatives.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Through Yoga, Meditation, Music and Dance we empower youth to develop their body, mind and spirit. We provide regular on-going programs and support to provide stable backdrop to the tumultuous lives of youth.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We currently have eight mentors and instructors working to fulfill our goals. We hope to train more volunteers to provide services to more people.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We hold weekly Yoga and Meditation classes free of charge to the attendees and provide music and dance instructions which culminates in annual dance recital. All programs are provided without charge to program participants. We hope to expand our reach and include more youth in our programs.
