What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Stronger Together
A few times a week we host fitness/strengthening classes for women in recovery, recovery allies and community members. These classes are an opportunity to get physically, emotionally and spiritually stronger while developing relationships that are integral for recovery from addiction. We all need support! We all need friendships that pull us through when we're getting bogged down! Our goal is to come alongside women in the community looking for friendship and accountability to get stronger and make healthy choices.

Financial data
Desens House Inc
Balance sheetFiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31
The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.

Founder, Board President
Jonathan Evans
Jonathan Evans, the lead Pastor of Elim Grace Church, has had a vision for bringing hope to the underserved populations of the city of Oswego, in particular those struggling with addiction. After years of serving the needs of our local community and watching the demographics of addiction affect Oswego county, Elim Grace Church purchased the historic T. Kingsford & Son office building across the street from the church, with the goal of this becoming a safe space of growth and healing for women struggling to overcome addiction.
The Desens House will be both a residence program for women in recovery from addiction as well as a Resource Center for women within the community to be surrounded by supportive recovery allies in a safe, healthy environment.
