What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
MGI Film Documentaries
MGI's film documentaries, such as The Spirit of Rice (see trailer below), bring attention to the important role organic grains, as well as other important whole foods, play in restoring personal and planetary health. These documentaries address the lifecycle of these foods (e.g., the seven stages of rice growth), health benefits, growing methods that can help mitigate climate change, and also provide information from academic experts in the field.
MGI Africa Programs
MGI is developing and delivering a training curriculum and materials to train leaders of Non-Government Organizations (i.e., non-profits) in Sub-Saharan Africa. This includes NGOs such as ECAN(T): End Child Abuse and Neglect Tanzania, seen in one of the pictures below. The objective of this program is to reach NGO leaders across Sub-Saharan Africa with a combination of in-person, virtual, and pre-recorded programs with topics such as leadership skills, food choices/growing methods, and lifestyle medicine (leveraging the natural qualities of food, cooking methods, and self-care).
