Domestic Violence

WPSM cares about protection and security in our communities, WPSM mission is to see women and children free from the fear of domestic violence and free from being a victim. We want to see children living in safe environments. You can be part of this.

Are you or someone you love a victim of domestic abuse? Do you live in fear in your own home? Do you know a child who is in a home with domestic violence?

WPSM teaches women and children self-defense skills so they can be ready to face anything. Women become empowered to stand up for themselves and their families. Available are self-defense classes, resources, and help for you or your loved one who has been a victim of domestic violence.

WPSM also provides a unique service to victims of domestic abuse. Many are afraid to return to their homes to collect their belongings. Already having to start over in a new house is hard and expensive. We want to help victims not spend as much on new things.

Population(s) Served

WPSM mission is to make sure our children who are growing up in urban areas have a chance to play, run, and have access to healthy food choices and understand the purpose of healthy living and fitness. Maybe you struggle with obesity or have a child who does so we need to face the issue as a community and as neighbors. By fighting obesity together, we can change the trajectory of youth who will be our leaders tomorrow. This can be done through fitness and nutrition camps.

WPSM has seen a need for youth fitness camps to promote nutrition and fight obesity. Our new non-profit is excited about providing fitness camps for youth, teaching children to love to be active, love to eat the right kinds of food, and to care about being healthy. Help us help our kids grow up strong and to make health a priority.

The death of a loved one to AIDS is tragic, but the tragedy extends beyond the death. It reaches its influence to the whole family; and in the end, children who have lost their parents to the disease often are the most affected. Whether you grew up in a loving home with both parents or grew up in a home with no parents or uncaring parents, you know the importance of having someone in your life who cares about you and who cares about your success and your future.

We have children and youth that are growing up watching a parent suffer from AIDS or are growing up without a loving home because they have lost a parent due to HIV and AIDS.

We have a responsibility to respond to the children affected by HIV and AIDS. Even though they may not be our own, they are part of our community. One child losing a parent to AIDS is too many. However, even just one life changed means something.

Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

SOURCE: IRS Form 990 info

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.

Founder

Antomius Wise

Our story began with Antomius Wise, who graduated from Lambuth University with a BS Major in Sports Management. He used the concepts he obtained from his degree program to get himself an opportunity with the NFL Washington Redskins as a cornerback. Later, he started an executive protection company, Wise Protective Services, LLC Shortly after his business was established, Antomius saw a need in the community that went beyond his protection company. He believed that it was necessary to support domestic violence victims, prevent youth obesity through sports and education, and to mentor children who parents died from HIV/AIDS. In 2012, Antomius Wise founded a 501c(3) nonprofit organization named Wise Protective Service and More, Inc.: A caring and helping hands organization. As he advanced up the Federal ranks as a Special Agent, WPSM is now managed by the Wise Family.
