Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Ukraine Project

We provide humanitarian aid and evacuation to the civilians on the front lines of the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Population(s) Served

Haiti has been in turmoil and has faced increasing gang violence since the president was assasinated in July of 2021.

Several months ago the gangs captured the seaport, where all the imports come in, and locked it down, which cut off most of the goods coming into Haiti. This also cut off most of the food and fuel supply for the entire country. The food warehouses have been emptied or destroyed; and the country has slowly been running out of food ever since.

It is causing the biggest humanitarian disaster in the world as millions of people currently have little to no access to food or fresh drinking water. Starvation, along with a cholera outbreak, has already killed thousands of people.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our goal in Syria is to provide food and clean water to those displaced by the ongoing conflict, as long as the need remains. In Iraq, our goal is to reach out to the refugees in the camps in Kurdistan and empower them through teaching English and small scale, sustainable gardening. Our goal in Columbia is to provide aid as needed to the refugees in order to save and sustain life.

Plain Compassion Crisis Response is focused on training and equipping people to meet the humanitarian needs around the world. We provide a platform for conservative Christians to volunteer in the most needy places in the world through various training programs. We work to train teams and send them into the areas around the world where they can be the most effective.

Through partnerships with individuals, corporations, churches, and other organizations we have been able to raise more than 3.5 million dollars, have trained and sent more than 600 volunteers for the work since the fall of 2014. We continue to utilize the partnerships with donors, churches, corporations and other organizations in order to raise the funding necessary to accomplish our mission.

So far we have been able to clean rubble from and repair more than 700 homes and deliver aid in the form of food, heating oil, clothing and blankets to the refugees in Northern Iraq. We have drilled more than 30 new wells and repaired over 200 well pumps to supply more than 50,000 people with clean water, as well as delivering medical aid to the refugees in Bangladesh. We continue to train teams to be ready to respond to the next humanitarian crisis, wherever that may be.

Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

SOURCE: IRS Form 990 info

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
