Legal Service Referrals
We assist the undocumented, non-citizens complete the application for asylum. We refer them to legal services for legal representation whenever a lawyer is required.
Basic English
We provide basic English classes for the undocumented, non-citizen residing in the Bronx, NY. In conjunction with another Non-profit agency, our clients are able to receive free vocational training leading to employment,

mr Lewis A. Miller
Lewis A. Miller, MS, is recognized in the United States and abroad as an entrepreneurial leader in medical publishing and continuing medical education. He has founded or co-founded 4 medical publishing companies, 2 consulting firms, an international CME company and 3 nonprofit organizations in the latter field, as well as 3 nonprofit organizations in affordable housing.
In 2021 Lewis founded Helping Immigrants Thrive whose mission is "To enable undocumented immigrants in New York City achieve financial self-sufficiency, independence, and a brighter future with dignity, enabling them to be contributing members of our community".
Lewis claims that his personal mission is “to celebrate life.” And, he says, that he feels he has done so – not only in his own life but the lives of those around him.

Gilberto Cintron
For Fourty five plus years, Gil Cintrón has been an avid community activist, organizer, and leader, having started several non-profit entities in East Harlem. He has worked with those on the fringes of society, treating them with dignity and the respect that they deserve. In the mid 1980's he worked as a social work supervisor at the Puerto Rican Association for Community Affairs, where he developed programs for special needs infants, specifically those afflicted with HIV/AIDS, or born addicted to crack cocaine.
Gil’s community work has led him to serve in many capacities. President and CEO of the Talent Unlimited Corporation; Executive Director of El Barrio Broadcasting, Corporation; Founding President of the Iroquois Jaycees in Medina, New York; Executive Director of the East Harlem Chamber of Commerce; Co-founder of Música Against Drugs, Inc. to name just a few. In 2005, Gil retired from all professional and all civic duties to raise his two daughters, Atabex and Cemí Cintrón. And
