Mission

: Our mission at California Paws Rescue is rooted in the love of all animals and the steadfast belief in second chances. Our passion and dedication are specifically focused on the Bull Terrier breed. Devoted to our cause, we navigate through the intricacies of rescue and rehabilitation with a focus on the individual needs of each Bull Terrier. By doing so, our goal is to ensure that these dogs not only overcome past adversities but also find their forever homes – places where they can experience the love, care, and understanding they deserve.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

We are planning on expanding our capacity to rescue more Bull Terriers from high kill shelters. We need to add kennel space and increase the outdoor exercise /play yard space.

To do this we are actively fundraising and requesting funding through grants and private donors.

Rescue Bull Terriers from high kill shelters across Southern California. Provide a safe and loving place from them to recuperate and be ready to be adopted into their new forever home.

Social media presence, grant writing and fund raising..

We are currently working towards securing funds and have planned out adoption and fundraisers for the first quarter of the year.

Balance sheet

Fiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31

SOURCE: IRS Form 990 info

The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
