What we aim to solve
Domestically in the United States, the Christian Church of Jesus Christ is in decline. Each year, thousands of churches close, and others continue to decline. The result of this is a declining social culture, and lack of evangelistic success. Globally, there exists a need for healthy Christian Church development, leadership development, and resources to help Christian Churches thrive.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The Malphurs Group seeks to revitalize churches in decline and build up surviving churches to thrive.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
The Malphurs Group employs several key services to help Christian Churches.
1. TMG's Church Ministry Analysis is a first step for churches seeking to find success as disciple-makers of Jesus. It evaluates their ministry in six key areas of church health: mission, core values, discipleship pathway, vision, strategies for success, and leadership.
2. Strategic Envisioning is a process available to churches both on-site and online. It helps Church leadership teams redirect their congregations in unity towards the primary, God-given mission of the church, to make and mature disciples of Jesus Christ. The process develops mission, core values, discipleship pathway, vision, and strategies for success.
3. Leadership Pipeline Design is a process that helps churches understand and identify layers of leadership in their organization. It then helps them map a plan for training, coaching, and leadership development, all intent on mission and vision accomplishment.
4. Pastoral Coaching provides necessary personal development for church leaders to maximize their own gifting and talents to lead their churches well.
5. In addition to the primary services listed above, the TMG team produces the Church Revitalization Podcast weekly along with accompanying articles to help churches change and thrive.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
The work of The Malphurs Group dates back over 25 years beginning with founder, Dr. Aubrey Malphurs. Dr. Malphurs spent over 35 years as a professor at Dallas Theological Seminary and has authored over 25 books on personal and church leadership, church health, and development.
Today, Dr. Malphurs work continues through his team of Church Guides capable of working with churches globally in English, French, and Spanish.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We see constant growth in church engagement with our resources. Our present next step goal is additional development of non-English language resources and global partners.

Balance sheetFiscal Year: Jan 01 - Dec 31
SOURCE: IRS Form 990
The balance sheet gives a snapshot of the financial health of an organization at a particular point in time. An organization's total assets should generally exceed its total liabilities, or it cannot survive long, but the types of assets and liabilities must also be considered. For instance, an organization's current assets (cash, receivables, securities, etc.) should be sufficient to cover its current liabilities (payables, deferred revenue, current year loan, and note payments). Otherwise, the organization may face solvency problems. On the other hand, an organization whose cash and equivalents greatly exceed its current liabilities might not be putting its money to best use.
