Aubrey’s Christmas Dinner for the Homeless Event

The annual Event addresses one of Hartford’s most pressing social, economic, and cultural needs: homelessness. The event, led by our VP, Daisy Feliciano it’s scheduled in the month of December and has been hosted for many years at the Arroyo Recreation Center located at 30 Pope Park Drive, Hartford, CT. This event is offered to all homeless individuals currently staying in shelters within the City of Hartford regardless of age, ethnicity, or gender. This event serves up to 125 homeless individuals, including men, women and children all while celebrating life and promoting hope during the holidays. This event equips and motivate homeless individuals with basic need items including deodorant, toothpaste, hats, socks, gently used-to-new coats and winter clothing to be prepared for important meetings such as job interviews, housing, community events, and more. Empower homeless individuals with a message of hope, through positive music and words of encouragement by local community.
