The Walkin' Roll Activities League, Inc. supports and nurtures individuals with developmental disabilities by providing team building opportunities through T-Ball, swimming, dancing and other group activities. The focus of our league is to build self-esteem and confidence in individual performance in a nurturing atmosphere. Organized team sports and activities will provide opportunities for participation. Parental involvement is the key to our success. The Walkin' Roll Activities League, Inc. is dedicated to ensure that all players be respected and their skills enhanced. But most of all, is that everyone has fun!

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

T-Ball

We have been playing an annual 10-week T-ball season since the year 1994. We encourage children and adults of all ages (we generally say 3-73 years old) to participate in a game. We have 2 teams with younger players and 2 teams with older players. We have a relaxing and fun environment for everyone. We encourage the whole family to play in the games.

We meet year-round on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month. We have a themed meal and play games. This event enables the whole family to participate together in a large group setting. We use this time for exercise, socialize, break bread and fellowship together. Some nights we watch movies, make a themed holiday craft, play board games and we always play Bingo. The participation varies a different times of the year, but the overall growth of this event grows year after year.
