Pawsitive Impact Project

Here at The Country Cattery our mission is to rescue cats and kittens from high kill shelters as well as community cats that suffer from neglect and abandonment. We provide their vaccinations, spay/neuter and adopt them to loving homes.
We started our rescue venture more than 10 years ago by helping community cats and providing TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) to help keep the population down. Fast forward to present day, we are a foster based 501(c)(3) rescue with foster homes all over the state and even in Georgia!
Our TNR program, Pawsitive Impact Project, includes low cost spay/neuter for low income families. This will go a long way towards reaching our goal of mandatory spay/neuter laws in Alabama. We currently provide TNR services in the following counties: Tuscaloosa, Jefferson, Chilton, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Clay, Tallapoosa and Chambers.
