Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We wish to reach out to each city in the county, and then across the state of California. Bringing independent artists to local communities, through festivals, press, and other programs.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Azure Lorica incubate production groups to build up their projects and brand through our company. In helping them create events and media, we are able to reach out to the community with more programs. Volunteers and Donors come to aid our cause, and this invites more production groups to perpetuate our operation.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
The Officers and Board of Azure Lorica share their resources and knowledge to these production groups, and build their audience through our marketing strategies. The Officers and Board play the role of mentor and adviser, allowing the production groups to build their brand with an extensive level of creative liberty.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have accomplished six years of community entertainment services. Two years of small and community theatre between North Hollywood and Pasadena, two years of online media production via blog and emagazine, four years of festival productions. With these projects, we've been able to build up independent artists and connect with the industry to bring more culture to local communities in LA County. Ticket sales have paid for the rent and supplies, no profits have been made. Overheads were paid with donations and contributions by the public and Board Members.
We have not been able to win monetary grants, earn enough to distribute salaries, and have been functioning with what resources our Board and Officers have been able to provide, including monetary contributions. We have been operating as a home business. We are in need of a workshop studio, where we may build props and costumes, and manage administration.
