Goals & Strategy

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goals are to provide emotional, spiritual and financial support to orphans and evangelists by partnering with indigenous missionaries and by providing low-cost adoption services for families. Our hope is to support those most in need through a thorough vetting process while ensuring donors that all of their funds reach the field. This is a ground-breaking organizational goal.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We find and build relationships with indigenous missionaries, visit and assess the needs of each mission, and ensure financial accountability and availability to wire funds directly to the mission. We also evaluate the integrity of the recipients via strict guidelines regarding their reputations, beliefs, doctrine, and impact on those around them. We fundraise via website, word of mouth, and inter-profssional networking. We prove to donors via financial statements and written and verbal updates that we hold to our promises of ensuring their monies go only to where they intend. This open policy continues to attract donors to our organization. In addition, we are currently awaiting licensure to become a child placement agency to facilitate adoptions at low- or no-cost to qualifying families. Such services- and quality- have rarely been offered without attached fees.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
The board of directors includes two sets of adoptive parents, two successful business owners, one team leader at a local organization, one mental health professional, and six individuals who have extensive experience traveling to visit missions and orphanages. Among the group, we have 3 PhD degrees, 4 Bachelors, 4 Masters, and numerous licenses and certifications for counseling, marriage and family services, adoption provisions and home studies, and financial and business competencies. One of the board member's private for-profit organizations is a multi-million dollar and multi-national corporation, of which he is the CEO. Furthermore, the group has adopted or is in the adoption process of six special needs children from Asia. As a group of educated, spiritual, experienced, passionate leaders, we pool our resources and knowledge to be able to make wise financial decisions, visit missions for accountability and support, advocate for those in need, challenge individuals to give responsibly, and (soon) provide home studies and adoption services and support.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have provided support for orphans and missionaries in India, Myanmar, Haiti, Tanzania, and now Indonesia. We are awaiting licensure to provide adoption services in the U.S. We would like to eventually become a Hague-accredited adoption agency to provide services for international adoption as well. We also hope to partner with as many indigenous missionaries as we can to continue providing support for them and for the orphans in their care. To that end, our goal in 2016 is to launch our child-placement agency, seek Hague accreditation, and add on additional missionary partnerships after completing thorough screening processes. We also intend to expand the reach of our organization to additional donors looking for a responsible way to give of their financial and emotional resources and supports. We believe people want to give but want and deserve assurance that their money and time are dedicated to those most in need.
