What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

One major obstacle that nonprofits / charities that host cycling fundraising events encounter is the limit of participation that can be achieved. Because most people are not willing to invest in a road bicycle to participate in one event, the pool of fundraising participants is normally just avid cyclists. This means that nonprofits / charities that rely on this major fundraising event as the lifeblood of their organization miss the opportunity to engage a large portion of their stakeholders.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

At Kind Bikes our aim is to not only to improve our community by empowering individuals to achieve their health goals, but also to bring awareness and resources to nonprofits and charities.

Our strategy is to support nonprofits and charities by engaging with their event leadership to promote our services to their key stakeholders, e.g. corporate teams, past employees, influencers.

Kind Bikes leverages our team's invaluable knowledge and experience of nonprofits as well as cycling to achieve our goal. With over 25 years of professional and volunteer experience the nonprofit industry, our Team understands how to engage with donors to help maximize their experience for positive results. From proper UX design of our website to one-on-one customer care, we treat our partner nonprofit and charity fundraisers like they are our own. Additionally, our team has volunteered with and fund raised for organizations such as the Leukemia & Lymphoma's Team In Training and the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure, so we truly understand how to support these donors turned cyclists.

From January 2016 through December 2017, our Kind Bikes renters had raised over $40,000 and pedaled more than 1,200 miles for their favorite nonprofits and charities. This year, Kind Bikes hopes to continue the momentum it has experienced over the past three years and continue to provide this level of support to our partner nonprofits / charities and their donors.

Additionally in 2017 and 2018, Kind Bikes organized a charity cycling event for a local Atlanta nonprofit, Team Maggie. Over the two years, the ride attracted more than 250 riders and raised enough money to help provide financial assistance to three cancer treatment survivors looking to "keep the dream of family alive." Due to the high demand of our core services, Kind Bikes will not be the active organizer of this event anymore.

Most importantly, Kind Bikes is always looking for wonderful nonprofits and charities to partner with. If you are interested, please reach out to us immediately. We would love to learn more about your organization and how we can help your cause.
