What we aim to solve
FECT aims to solve, above all, the wide range of problems that arise when any of our core values of Freedom, Education, Community, and Trust are lacking. Our founding project is Living With Synovial Sarcoma, an online support group for more than 800 patients and their caregivers who are living with the rare cancer synovial sarcoma.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Conflict Resolution Training
Education in conflict resolution, including mediation and restorative justice.
Living With Synovial Sarcoma
How do you live with a life-altering diagnosis whose typical cure involves radical surgery? We promote open and honest discussion about personal experiences living with Synovial Sarcoma - a rare cancer that is typically terminal - with a focus on self-care, alternative treatments, and the emotional impact of it all. If you are a synovial sarcoma patient or care for someone who is please join us! https://www.facebook.com/groups/livingwithsynovialsarcoma/
Art
Art intersects all of FECT's goals and we continue to help support individual upcoming artists whenever possible. More to come.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
FECT volunteers broadly support a wide range of programs in a variety of areas to help promote
our core values of Freedom, Education, Community, and Trust. Our longest and most successful project to date, Living With Synovial Sarcoma, showcases a core goal of FECT in all that we do: helping marginalized people in dire circumstances to be seen and supported for who they are.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
FECT continues to develop new programs that can be sustained by volunteers with little to no funding while we grow and seek program-specific funding whenever possible.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
FECT's robust team of volunteers includes legal professionals, educators, farmers, and artists who are passionate about the unique individual projects they create, implement, and manage with our help. Their vital expertise in their specialities and willingness to volunteer their time to FECT is the entirety of our capabilities.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
FECT has and continues to serve as a framework to bring together a wide range and variety of different programs and projects that help promote our core values of Freedom, Education, Community, and Trust.
