FASD and the Brain-Based Approach TRAININGS

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is a brain-based physical disability with behavioral symptoms. The brain-based approach to living with, caring for, and working with individuals and families impacted by FASD acknowledges the source of behaviors: the brain, and provides a set of research-based best practices for helping people with fetal alcohol exposure.
FAFASD is pleased to offer a variety of workshops and trainings focusing on FASD as a neurobehavioral disorder. These trainings take the research we have about FASD and creates a plan of action to help caregivers and professionals working with individuals and families affected by FASD create a plan for success.
The workshops and trainings are based on the curriculum developed by Diane Malbin of FASCETS, an internationally recognized training organization on fetal alcohol spectrum disorders.
