Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The Midwest Salute to the Arts goals are to share Art with the community and to help
provide a forum for art creativity and art awareness in our children. The Children are our future. They are tomorrow's thinkers, scientists, doctors, artists.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
With the decreasing art programs in our local schools we wish to bring art back in the class room. With additional support we are able to offer art supplies and even bring in art programs with visiting artists.
One way is to apply for grants supporting the Artist in Residency programs.
Another is by inviting artists to volunteer their time to bring art to our young people as a mentor.
We will also to the:
Salute Community Project
Art for the Soldiers
Letters to the Military
“MAIL CALL MASTERPIECES”
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
I am confident that with the support of the city and community we will bring art into our community schools. This will be the first year that we will invite artists to volunteer their time as a mentor.
We will also be providing continued opportunities for our Salute Community Project Art for the Soldiers Letters to the Military “MAIL CALL MASTERPIECES”
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
2016 will be the 3rd Year annually to have our community students support the "Mail Call Masterpieces" project.
