Mission Statement: At Be The Change Youth Initiative we believe all youth should be SEEN HEARD and LOVED. Driven by our commitment to encourage youth towards balanced mental well-being we educate equip and empower the next generation to become advocates for their communities. We do this through personal engagement and collaboration through art music and leadership as they Share Stories Extend Compassion and Take Action towards a brighter tomorrow. Program 1

Youth Art Initiative: We run two after school programs that bring in local artists to share their work with students and how art helps them process their mental health. The artists also leads the students through an art project. Our high school program lasts for 20 weeks and our middle school program lasts 13 weeks. Costs include staff and the cost for art supplies.

Be Kind Initiative: We provide a 30-minute music presentation where musicians sings songs and share stories focused on normalizing the conversation around the mental health struggles for youth. We offer students an opportunity to write words of encouragement on coffee sleeves from a local coffee shop that they use Wirth their customers.

Empower Youth Initiative: We have created a 6 page packet for youth between the ages of 5 and 17 that can be used to identify their gifts and talents and then helps them use those gifts and talents to impact their community.
